Helen's obituary (ECM Post Review, March 2004):

Helen Johanna Peterson was born on October 5, 1915 at North Branch, Minn. She was the daughter of Gust and Jennie (Sederberg) Peterson. Helen was the youngest of six children.

Helen was baptized and confirmed at the Trinity Lutheran Church. She graduated from North Branch High School in the class of 1934. Helen went to Minneapolis and worked at Keller Drug Store, managing the dining room until her retirement in 1978. While living in Minneapolis she was a member of the Lebanon Lutheran Church. Together with her brother Clifford they built a home in North Branch a few houses from her childhood home. She lived in this house until her death.

Helen was an active member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She volunteered at the church office, a leader of bible study circle and a member of the YAH'S. Helen also volunteered at the Senior Center, Neighbors Helping Neighbors and at Green Acres until she was unable because of health reasons.

Helen died, on March 24, 2004 at the Green Acres Country Care Center at the age of 88.

Helen was preceded in death by parents, four brothers Virgil, Blair and wife Stella, Clarence and Clifford, one sister Pearl.

Survived by cousins Frances Sederberg, Blair and Lois Berg, Ted and Delores Olson, Joanne Peterson, Sharon Bohach and Margaret Magnison and friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday March 29, 2004 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in North Branch, Minn. Interment was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements by Grandstrand Funeral Home in North Branch, Minn.
